Bengt Wedholm started his career at the famous restaurant Gyldene freden in Stockholm at the age of 18. After the WWII Bengt decided it was time to move on and headed to Paris to develop his skills in the kitchen, he was given the opportunity to work for the Swedish embassy in Paris and Le Chremalier before returning home. During the following years Bengt opened several well know restaurants in Stockholm before he served his first plate of excellent fish at what was to become his flagship restaurant, Wedholms Fish, in 1985 and achieved a star in the Michelin Guide.
